Privacy
Privacy, plainly
A kids’ app should be easy to trust. Here’s how OpenMath treats data, in plain language.
Built for children
OpenMath is made for kids, so we keep data to a minimum. No ads, no profiling, and nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing.
Analytics without tracking
We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) for anonymous visit counts. No cookies, no personal data, and no requests to any third-party network.
Your data stays on a sovereign platform
OpenMath runs on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS plus a private network), and credentials are kept in a secrets vault — not in the app.
Accounts
An account stores only what the app needs to work: a name, an email, and learning progress. Teachers and parents only ever see the students or children linked to them.
